Welcome to another Table Talk Tuesday, where we share casino tips, game guides and a behind-the-scenes look at life at Perfect Pair Fun Casino.
This week, we're looking at one of the questions we hear most often...
"Which poker hand is the best?"
Whether you're playing 3 Card Poker, Texas Hold'em or simply want to understand the basics before your next casino night, knowing the poker hand rankings is a great place to start.

Poker Hand Ranking

Royal Flush
The best hand in poker.
A, K, Q, J, 10 – all of the same suit.
It's incredibly rare, but if you're lucky enough to get one, it's definitely a hand to celebrate!

Straight Flush
Five consecutive cards of the same suit.
For example: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 of hearts.

Four of a Kind
Four cards of the same value.
Think four Kings or four 8s.

Full House
Three cards of one value and two of another.
For example: three Queens and two 7s.

Flush
Five cards of the same suit, but not in sequence.

Straight
Five consecutive cards, but not all in the same suit.

Three of a Kind
Three cards of the same value.

Two Pair
Exactly what it sounds like—two different pairs.

One Pair
Two cards of the same value.
Sometimes that's all you need to win!

High Card
If no one has any of the above, the highest single card decides the winner.
An Ace is the highest card.
Chris's Casino Tip
One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is that you need to memorise all the poker hands before you can play.
You really don't!
Our professional dealers are always happy to explain the rankings and guide you through the game, so don't worry if you've never played before. Within a few hands, you'll be recognising the winning combinations without even thinking about it.
The most important thing? Relax, enjoy yourself and have fun—that's what our casino nights are all about.
Planning a wedding, birthday party, corporate event or charity fundraiser?
Our friendly professional dealers will make sure your guests feel comfortable, explain every game and help create an unforgettable casino night for everyone.
